Corridor

Taiwan and India: technology transfer, sourcing and market entry

A registered branch office in Bengaluru with a resident Managing Director — not an agent, not a referral arrangement. That is what makes this corridor workable in both directions.

Taiwan makes specialty materials, precision components and process technology that Indian manufacturers need. India has manufacturing capacity, a regulated life-sciences sector, and a market Taiwanese firms consistently underestimate. Most cross-border attempts do not stall on the commercial logic, which is usually obvious. They stall on qualification, on documentation, and on the fact that nobody has visited the floor.

Our Bengaluru office exists to close that gap from the Indian side. It is a branch of the Taiwanese company rather than a partner firm, so the same team is accountable at both ends of a transaction.

Which way the work goes

Taiwan into India

Licensing a process to an Indian manufacturer, appointing distribution, or qualifying an Indian contract manufacturer. We shortlist counterparties against your technical specification, visit sites, and carry the technical material across languages so the version the other side reads means what yours does.

India into Taiwan

Sourcing Taiwanese specialty machinery, cleanroom equipment, electronic materials or pharmaceutical inputs. We qualify suppliers on the ground in Taiwan, structure the arrangement, and coordinate the regulatory documentation a shipment has to travel with.
