Do you sign an NDA before any technical disclosure?

Yes, and we prefer to. We will sign your NDA or provide a mutual one before you share any technical detail. Nothing technical is discussed with a third party until an agreement is in place.

Who owns the intellectual property in a technology transfer?

The licensor does, unless the agreement says otherwise. Our role is to structure the transfer so ownership, field of use, territory and improvement rights are explicit before anything is signed. We coordinate with qualified IP counsel on the drafting itself — we are not a law firm.

Can you provide translations for regulatory submissions?

Accepted Answer

We produce technical translations between Traditional Chinese and English for regulatory documentation, including CMC sections, technical files and safety data sheets. Where a submission requires certification or notarisation, we coordinate that separately — tell us the receiving authority and we will confirm what is needed.

How do you charge?

Consultation and advisory work is quoted as a fixed fee against a defined scope. Sourcing and transfer projects are milestone-based. Ongoing support is a monthly retainer. Every engagement is quoted in writing before it starts, and scope changes are quoted separately rather than appearing on an invoice.

Which markets do you work in?

Seven: Taiwan, India, South Korea, the United States, Germany, Singapore and Australia. Each has a partner who lives there, and every engagement is run to the same model from the Taiwan head office. Ask about anywhere else and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Question 6

What happens if a supplier fails your evaluation?

We tell you, with the evidence, and move to the next candidate. We are paid for the evaluation, not for placing a particular supplier, so there is no incentive to pass a factory that should not pass.

Question 7

How quickly can you arrange a factory visit?

Accepted Answer

For a shortlisted Taiwanese supplier, typically within two to three weeks including scheduling and preparation. Indian site visits are coordinated through our Bangalore representative. We prepare a briefing pack and provide interpretation for the visit itself.

Question 8

Are you a law firm or a licensed financial adviser?

Accepted Answer

No. We provide advisory, coordination and localisation services. We do not give legal, tax, investment or accounting advice, and we coordinate with appropriately qualified professionals where a matter requires it.
